My accommodation is ideal for gays and lesbians. There are a lot of lesbian couples in Hamilton!
Hamilton's gay bars: Embassy Club (disco, for university crowd); Steel Lounge (pub and small dance floor, for over-30 crowd).
Hamilton's 2 saunas (bath houses): Karl's (free food daily, much older crowd); Spa for Men (part of the Steamworks bath chain)
Attractions: Hamilton is a very artsy city: James Street Art District, and the "Art Crawl" which closes James Street on the first Friday of every month. Gallery tours, and architectural tours are also popular.
Also: Dundurn Castle; public market hall; victorian brick architecture; Christ the King cathedral (Catholic); view from Hamilton Mountain (on a clear day you can see Toronto and Niagara Falls); cycling around the waterfront or the lake behind the university
House Rules: no 420 (Marijuana); nodrugs, no smoking. Other than that, I'm pretty relaxed.

Hello! Welcome to my home. Hamilton is located 1 hour from Toronto and 1 hour from Niagara Falls. This is a great base for exploring Toronto or the Niagara region!
I'm Michael: high-school French teacher; world traveller; cat-lover; avid baker; leather-daddy. I'm a quiet and reserved type, but I enjoy talking with my guests and sharing my suggestions for your time in Hamilton.
My home is located in a quiet green neighbourhood half-way between downtown Hamilton and McMaster University. The guest room is on the back of the house, overlooking the deck and the back garden, with a view of the steeple of the cathedral and the sound of the bells. Pubic transit, including the bus to Toronto, is just 2 blocks away.
The guest room has an antique double bed, dresser, and desk. There is apple tv and free wi-fi. Guests can use the laundry, sit on the deck, or in the shady back garden. It's a great place for a quiet cup of tea (or an espresso!).
